Workflow idea · Jira MCP

These stories were drafted here for review, but ideally this step wouldn't require a manual copy/paste into Jira at all. With a Jira MCP server connected to Kiro, these stories — epic, priority, points, acceptance criteria, and labels — could be created directly in Jira from this same session, once the format is approved. That's the kind of process-efficiency gain worth exploring on day one: agentic AI tools doing the mechanical hand-off work, so PM time goes into the judgment calls (scope, priority, risk) instead of data entry.

Proactive Teacher Alerts

Surface students whose scored evidence shows a meaningful change — without requiring a teacher to browse a dashboard — and give them a clear, evidence-backed next step, with full control over sensitivity and scope. See problem-brief-teacher-alerts.html for full context and risk analysis.

Mark an alert as addressed
P13 pts
As a classroom teacher, I want to mark an alert as addressed, so that it stops showing as active and the system knows to re-check the student later rather than re-flag immediately.
